Antonietta Collins
Antonietta Tonite Gonzalez-Collins is a Mexican-American sportscaster. She currently works for ESPN as a anchor for SportsCenter and sometimes hosts SportsNation. She started working at ESPN in the year 2016. She is the daughter of television journalist Maria Antonieta Collins. Antonietta Collins is a bilingual woman and has been for a long time, starting at her age of nine. This skill has helped her get her first position at Univision, Miami. She worked with national producers on programs like Nuestra Belleza Latina Premios Lo Nuestro Premios Juventud Primer Impacto. Following this, she was hired by the CBS station located in St. Petersburg employed her as a reporter for sports. In 2009, the reporter relocated into Rio Grande Valley Texas where she was employed by KNVO TV 48 Univision as and Fox2 News. In Mexico City she was conceived on the 22nd November 1985. She is the elder sibling of her parents. Her family relocated to Miami in 1992 after leaving Mexico. In 1992, her parents divorced then shortly thereafter in 1995 she was remarried Fabio Fajardo who was an engineer in the naval sector who passed away in 2006 due to kidney cancer. It was during a time of summer when she was with her younger sister living in Canton Ohio where the older Collins girl had secured a job. Antonietta who was in high school having a clear idea of where she thought her future would look like, traveled to Mount Union University to determine what she could get out of the college. The campus was beautiful as well as offered the level of education she was looking for. Her studies were completed and she was admitted to the university with a degree in media studies. The professor she had was Mark Bergmann, who managed WRMU FM, and was student in her class, developed an ongoing relationship with the student. Her professor, Mark Bergmann, inspired her with his enthusiasm for journalism. He also deeply impacted her.
